Morning set at Eikokuya
Last day. Breakfast at Café Eikokuya, an old-school Osaka coffee house with dark wood and chandeliers. A waffle and the classic Osaka morning set of thick toast and a boiled egg, while BB Bagel pointed at every lamp.
He also wanted the toast.
Namba Parks
Honestly we were just killing time. Too early for lunch, too late to go anywhere further than walking distance from the hotel. So we walked up the rooftop garden of Namba Parks, which happened to be in full spring bloom. Not bad for a backup plan.
Soba and one last shop
Lunch was soba and tempura at Hakoto. Bagel had a flower to play with.
One last run for baby supplies at Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us, because Japanese baby stuff is just better. Then cake and a matcha latte at School Bus Coffee while Bagel slept in the stroller. Peace.
Home sweet home
The Nankai Rapi:t to Kansai Airport. To me it looks like a blue robot.
Tonkatsu at the airport, one last family selfie, and home. Ten days, one birthday, two aquariums, one sick day and a lot of deer. Bagel’s first Japan trip, and definitely not his last.
