A 3am pickup for the jeep up Mt Batur: stars, sunrise over the clouds and the black lava field, then coffee at Abian Kusumasari. The pool, Pison, the Sacred Monkey Forest and Seeds Eatery.

The swing and the flying red dress at Uma Ceking on the Tegallalang terraces, the purification pools at Tirta Empul, lunch at Bebek Joni, Tegenungan Waterfall and ribs at Naughty Nuri's.

Morning yoga in the bamboo pavilion and a flower bath at Kaveri Spa. Babi guling at Ibu Oka, the Ubud Water Palace and luwak coffee at Bali Pulina, then a late last dinner.
