Kuromon Market
Our free day in Osaka started at Kuromon Market, the covered market in Nippombashi.

Yesterday the ramen shop guy said locals don’t bother with Kuromon Market. Breakfast was a crawl: skewers (¥1,830), oden (¥800) and a melon ice cream (¥795). ¥3,425 and we weren’t even full. Now we know why the locals stay away.

Yao Gallery
Then coffee at Yao Gallery, an antique shop with a café inside. I needed my coffee break.

Walking around
Then wandering, with selfies under the shop signs.

Past Takashimaya to Namba, where Minmin, now in her second trimester, needed a sit-down break in the square.

Next: the Animeal café, where the animals wander around you.
