Churros and a sit-down
After Nintendo, churros and a hotdog pastry (¥1,350), and a walk round the lagoon to Amity Village.

Liang needed a sit.

Sesame Street and Wonderland
Then the colourful bit for kids. We are not kids, but whatever.

Hogwarts, again
Two days after the studio tour in Tokyo, another Hogwarts. Through the arch into Hogsmeade, past the Hogwarts Express.

And the castle on its rock.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
The queue for Forbidden Journey goes through the castle: the portrait gallery, the greenhouse, Dumbledore’s office.

Even the Great Hall is part of the queue.

The ride itself is a lot of swooping, dementors and a dragon. Very good, slightly nauseating.

A wand and a meat pie
Ollivanders: a wand for Minmin (¥5,500). Meat pie for me (¥700), and popcorn (¥550).

Hogsmeade at dusk
The light dropped and the castle went pink.

Hogsmeade was packed by now.

The Hogwarts Express one more time.

Night falls
Back through Hollywood as the lights came on. A Minyan towel on the way out (¥1,720).

From 7am to 6pm. Our feet were done.
Katsuki
Dinner at Katsuki in Shinsaibashi, tonkatsu with mountains of cabbage. ¥4,246 for the two of us.

Onward to our last day!
